Okay so I decided to make this guide for those people who doesn't have any clue on how they can join a street gang or what they are supposed to do so that they will get into a gang that they want. I have suffered at this kind of a problem before, when I have no idea how to start and I always ended up getting trashed. So yeah, if you want to learn how to join and how can you get ragged/jumped in easily then you better continue reading.

Common Mistake
Okay, so people's common mistake is when they try to join, they will ask the most retarded and stupidest question that a person may ask, "Do you have some job for me?" That is the most common question and the most common way players get denied and trashed so keep in mind, never do that if you want to join a gang.

Once you have fully mastered and understand on how can this simple mistake can get you into shitstorm. Then you may proceed.


Character Development
Okay so this is a very important thing that you need to consider before joining a gang. Character Development, is developing your character as time goes by. I will make a seperate guide about this soon, but I will include important details regarding about this one here at this guide.

How can you develop your character?
Before you start roleplaying, take a seat down, make some coffee and take out your pen and notebook and write the following or type it in a notepad.

Originality
This is one of the most common thing, that every ST-RP gangster roleplayers has. All outsider and even insiders are all the same. Before you join a gang, I highly suggest that you create special traits: like having a burn mark, being fat, deformation, etc. Just go and follow your way, do not follow others on how they roleplay. Be unique and trust me, you will be noticed in no time.
Where is your character from?
-Write down where your character is from. Is he from China? From Mexico? From United Kingdom? Write it all down. Also you can add twists, like for example. Your character is from Mexico, but he is a Salvadoran descendant. It depends on you and your imagination
Personality
Write down the personality of your character. Do he have anger issues? Is he soft? Is he loving? Is he cold? Is he a loving son? Do he likes eating too much? Is he kind? Is he violent? etc.
Appearance
Write down the appearance of your character, although I don't encourage you to base your character from a famous individual, it is possible. And also, I suggest that do not add too much advantages to your character. Like for example, she has a very slim body, she is a beauty, she is kind, she has huge boobs, etc. Remember, to add weaknesses and cons at your character. Like having a burn mark, weird skin inborn illnesses, being fat, being thin, cannot run etc.


It is highly suggested to start as a teenager around 16-18 years old. And once you have wrote the following above, you can now develop your character. Take screenshots of your first shootout, your first murder, first robbery and first sex ((jking)) and don't forget to write it down so that you can post it at the Forums at the Character Biography thread of the gang that you want to join.



Roleplay as a Local
Once you are done planning your character. You can now try joining the gang by simply roleplaying as a resident or a local at the main turf of the particular gang you want to join. For example, there is a Lokotes gang located at El Corona, you can roleplay being a resident at El Corona, as a teenager and then you can be noticed by the insiders or even outsiders of the gang. Once you met a insider, and get along with him. That insider may introduce you to the gang, making your way towards the gang. Once you are known by everyone, and you know everyone. You can now be given a job, either to sell drugs or run errands. Roleplaying as a local is the best way to join a gang. Also, you can roleplay renting a house if you cannot afford buying a house either way is good.

Once you are invited to the gang as a rank 0. You must not fuck up and you must RP every now and then. Follow server rules, and respect everyone OOCly. You will now also be able to use /f which is the family chat that can be used to communicate with other members, you can now also used the family vehicles provided by the gang however refrain from abusing it as it may cause trouble if you do abuse the family vehicles. You now also access the TS3 channel and communicate with other members of the gang. And once you have joined, you agree to the rules and you are willing to have yourself PK'ed if you fucked up OOCly or ICly.


Things to avoid.

Here are the things that you need to avoid once you have joined the gang.

Rule breaking
Breaking server rules will not help you. I highly encourage you to follow every OOC rules and avoid getting into administrative problems. Breaking rules, may get you PK'ed and kicked from a gang, or you will not be given a chance to join or be invited to the gang. So I encourage you, do not break the server rules and also so that it wouldn't cause burden to the admins and to other players that might be affected.

OOC stupidity
Being stupid OOCly may affect a lot and you may not be given a chance to join the gang. Also, asslicking, trolling, and general retardedness is frowned upon. Your IC attitude and actions will affect your OOC outcome in the family as well. Avoid going into /b too much, do not run around like a fucking retarded person who snorted crack and smokes meth at the same time, do not bunny hop, avoid bitching OOCly and finally, accept your defeat. It doesn't matter if you lose in a shootout or w/e, if you caught someone rambo'ing. Do not rage at /b and say, "NICE RAMBO" instead, shut the fuck up. And report him at the forums.
UN-RPly leaving
Never and never UN-RP leave the gang that you joined. If you want to leave, then you can tell the leader and get you PK'ed. However, it is not suggested for you to leave the gang at any circumstances. It will give you a very bad reputation for being a family hopper which may lead into a account gang warning and not being able to join any gangs because of your reputation.

If you avoid the things above, then you may be ragged/jumped in the gang. Once you are ragged or jumped in, you must not fuck up and still follow the rules and things that I have discussed above. And so you have two destinations, either get PK'ed or become a respected OG. If you want to become a respected OG then you must follow everything that I have discussed especially the character development part and the things to avoid. I think that's all I have to say, and remember that it is not mandatory for you to follow everything that is written at this guide.
